What type of wood should I use to make a monopoly board? - lol board
I base my own monopoly. I intend to be cut into two halves and joined together by hinges to fold into a full pension. There must be a solid wood, which is not easy to carry, and also a timber that can be easily cleaned.
I am not a professional in this field ... Someone could please tell me what kind of wood should I use? (In other tips for this board lol:))

MDF is probably the best choice. But always paint or stain, if you can get the finished product COZ dust seems questionable, but the coating holds the key. I would also say that maybe "on wood, but it is very thin and I assume that" bow "after a while .... go with MDF.
I would not use if you want something durable MDF, if you have no wood veneer on both sides, but you have to put a strip of wood raw edges of MDF. Birch wood is a durable hard to use. If you have 2 or 3 layers of varnish or polyurethane on top to protect him, and easy to clean.
MDF is cheap and good, but I would go for 3 / 4 layers, Dent custom as simple as MDF and sanded and varnished to see the wood grain, and are much better. Insert the sticker in paint, a few layers that provide the nuts and have to wear.

Use 1 / 8 "hardboard .... perfect for this kind of project ...
