I need help choosing a flatbet photo scanner.I have narrowed it down to either an Epson v500 or Canoscan 8800? - epson v500 vs cannon 8800f

The 8800 is a scanner CanonScan well. Personally I use HP and Umax top.

But the CanonScan is slightly better than the V500
